Woody and Kleiny – well to be more precise it was actually Woody – contacted Carousel Lights to ask us:
can you guys bring our WAK CHAT graphic design to life as a real neon sign?
I mean, this is our bread and butter so of course we said;
Woody, of course we can 🙂
So we did. We made the first WAK Chat neon out of 10mm Snow-white glass for WAK Chat and used Bromo Blue neon for the outer border. All of the glass was mounted to 10mm polished black acrylic with a CE-marked Hansen transformer fixed to the reverse of the acrylic. We supplied 4 50mm standoff locators so the boys could easily fix the neon to their wall. We specialise in neon signs for influencers so loved doing this first neon. But that’s not where it ended.
After the boys had had WAK Pad up for a while they came back to us and asked for 3 more; WAK Create, WAK HQ and WAK Sweet. They wanted the designs to all be consistent but just with a different use of text and colour so we used different glass colours for the border but kept the text in Snow White real glass neon, and all of them mounted onto the same size black acrylic.
Where have you been?! Woody and Kleiny (Paul Wood and Paul Klein) are a British social media duo known for their viral comedy sketches, pranks, and challenge videos. They became popular through short-form content on platforms like Vine and Facebook before expanding to YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. Their energetic, lighthearted humour and creative stunts have earned them millions of followers across social media. They often collaborate with other influencers and create content that blends physical comedy, sports challenges, and engaging audience participation. Their brand revolves around fun, fast-paced entertainment, making them one of the UK’s most well-known social media duos.
They auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent in 2009 as a freestyle football act. Back then, they were more focused on football tricks rather than social media content. They impressed the judges with their skills but didn’t make it far in the competition. The experience helped them gain exposure, and they later transitioned into comedy and prank content, which ultimately made them famous on social media. Safe to say, things worked out pretty well for them! Clever boys.
