Dua Lipa neon signage for live gigs

Neon Ultra® ‘DUA LIPA’ Signage

Dua Lipa’s management team contacted Carousel Lights and asked us to bring her name to life in replica neon lighting for a tour that she was about to undertake.

The brief was to create a DUA LIPA sign that had high impact and that was robust enough to take on tour for a series of gigs. Our Neon Ultra® product is perfect for this type of signage application and we therefore recommended it to Dua’s team.

Dua Lipa Neon Sign specification

Each letter of DUA LIPA was created from opal acrylic laser-cut to follow the outer perimeter of the lettering. The acrylic was fitted to clear polycarbonate panels, with a single RGB controller, 3x RGB amplifiers and 4 transformers to power the sign.

Each letter was 1000mm (h) and when laid out as DUA LIPA the sign measures 3847mm (w).

It’s been used on stage and on BBC productions including Radio 1’s Live Lounge.
